The win got Summers County back to even at 2-2. As for Midland Trail, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Summers County was able to grind out a solid victory over Midland Trail when the teams last played back in September of 2023, winning 16-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Summers County since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
