Softball Recap: Doddridge County's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

Doddridge County has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.06 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against the Ritchie County Rebels, falling 11-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hadley Ross was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Brooke Dehaven was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double.
