Heights skates past Northwest with ease

Recap: Heights Falcons vs. Northwest Grizzlies

The Heights Falcons had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Northwest 77-36 on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Heights, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Heights was led to victory by Amalachi Wilkins and T.J. Williams. Wilkins scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds, while Williams scored 17 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of K'Mari Holt, who scored 12 points along with 3 steals.

Northwest's lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jayce Glasper, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Tasean Williams, who scored 11 points.

Heights' victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Heights will be playing at home against North at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwest, they will head out on the road to face off against South at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
