Volleyball Recap: Euclid Takes a Loss

Euclid lost against Cuyahoga Falls back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Black Tigers.

While Euclid ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 20-25, 25-23.

Euclid's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Cuyahoga Falls, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Euclid will square off against Brunswick at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cuyahoga Falls, they will face off against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Black Tigers are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
