Football Preview: Clinton Dragons vs. Halls Red Devils

The Clinton Dragons will head out on the road to take on the Halls Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clinton has given up an average of 36.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Mason Eckerson, who threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns. Bryson Maddox also helped with two scores in total.

Clinton better keep an eye on Amari Lethgo. He was instrumental in Halls' win, throwing for 221 yards and six TDs on perfect 13-for-13 passing. Lethgo's passing game has become a key predictor of the Red Devils' success: the team is 3-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise. Knox Burton was another key rusher, rushing for 54 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
