Volleyball Recap: Mcmichael Has No Trouble Against Carver + How To Watch

McMichael won the last time they faced Carver and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Phoenix were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Yellowjackets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Phoenix.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: McMichael took every set by at least 18 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-1, 25-7, 25-6.

Among those leading the charge was Carrington Vaughn, who had 13 assists and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last eight matches. Ivy Beasley also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: McMichael was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 25 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carver only served two.

McMichael's record is now 17-9. As for Carver, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

McMichael wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Rockingham County on the 2nd. As for Carver, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Morehead on the 2nd.
