Basketball Game Preview: Fairhope Pirates vs. St. Paul's Wolves

The Fairhope Pirates will take on the St. Paul's Wolves in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Fairhope is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Baker just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Hornets an easy 76-50 win. The game marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Paul's, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They breezed by Benjamin Franklin to the tune of 73-38 on Friday. The matchup marked the Wolves' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Fairhope's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2. As for St. Paul's, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
