Basketball Recap: Harbor Springs Comes Up Short

After flying high against Boyne City last Tuesday, Harbor Springs came back down to earth. The Harbor Springs Rams took a 56-39 bruising from the Elk Rapids Elks on Thursday. The match marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Harbor Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Elk Rapids, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Harbor Springs and Elk Rapids should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Harbor Springs (ranked 50th) will meet Grayling (ranked 270th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Elk Rapids will challenge Cheboygan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 175 places (127 vs. 302).
