Baseball Recap: San Lorenzo Valley Cougars vs. North Salinas Vikings

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Lorenzo Valley). They put the hurt on the North Salinas Vikings with a sharp 16-5 victory on Saturday. The Cougars not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since May 8, 2024.

Dominic Aguilar made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
