Soccer Recap: Beauregard Comes Up Short

Beauregard managed to keep up with Opelika until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Hornets came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 5-2. The loss continues a trend for Beauregard in their meetings with Opelika: they've now lost six in a row.

Beauregard's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Opelika, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-12-2.

Looking ahead, Beauregard will face off against Holtville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Opelika, they will take on Smiths Station at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Opelika are facing Smiths Station at the right time seeing as Smiths Station are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
