Softball Recap: Baldwin Highlanders vs. Norwin Knights
Baldwin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of the Norwin Knights by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Baldwin of the 15-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Reese Temme made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with a triple, a run, and a double.
Baldwin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Norwin, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Baldwin will be playing in front of their home fans against Hempfield Area at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Norwin, they will head out on the road to face off against Mt. Lebanon at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
