Basketball Recap: Stagg Comes Up Short

Stagg was the 49-38 winner over Joliet Central when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Stagg Chargers were outmatched by the Joliet Central Steelmen and fell 63-33. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stagg's defeat dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Joliet Central, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-16.

Coming up, Stagg will square off against Andrew at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Joliet Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Romeoville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Joliet Central is facing Romeoville at the right time seeing as Romeoville is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
