Soccer Recap: Hayden Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Hayden was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of the St. James Academy Thunder by a score of 1-0. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Hayden couldn't quite close it out.

Hayden dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for St. James Academy, the win keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

Coming up, Hayden will square off against Topeka on Tuesday. As for St. James Academy, they will challenge St. Teresa's Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. St. Teresa's Academy's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
