Volleyball Recap: Spencer Comes Up Short

Spencer lost against Columbus back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Greenwave took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils. The Greenwave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jaslyn Watts had an outrageously good game for Columbus as she had 18 digs and three aces. What's more, Watts posted two assists, the most she's had over her last five matchups.

Spencer now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Columbus, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-18 record this season.

Spencer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Shaw on the 23rd. As for Columbus, they will face off against Carrollton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
