Basketball Recap: Paris Takes a Loss

Paris lost against Lamar last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Paris Eagles came up short against the Lamar Warriors, falling 50-25. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Paris and nudges their season record down to 9-9. As for Lamar, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paris will challenge Lavaca at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paris is facing Lavaca at the right time seeing as Lavaca is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Lamar has already played their next game (against Jasper), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
