Recap: Veritas Academy Monarch vs. Lancaster County Christian Lions
The Veritas Academy Monarch's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 72-32 loss at the hands of Lancaster County Christian. Veritas Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-20.
Lancaster County Christian found their leader in underclassman Sheldon Fisher, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fisher has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah MacCartney, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
Veritas Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lancaster County Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
Veritas Academy will head out on the road to take on Lititz Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lancaster County Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Christian School of York at 7:30 p.m. Christian School of York is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
