Softball Game Preview: Cashmere Bulldogs vs. Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors

Cashmere hasn't had much luck against Cle Elum-Roslyn recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Warriors at 3:00 p.m. Cashmere knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Cle Elum-Roslyn likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Cashmere made easy work of Wahluke and carried off a 21-8 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Cle Elum-Roslyn fell victim to Kittitas and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Coyotes, falling 16-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Coyotes recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Cashmere pushed their record up to 8-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.8 runs over those games. As for Cle Elum-Roslyn, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
