It's playoff time, and Antioch had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Huntley Red Raiders on Tuesday as they made off with a 27-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Sequoits, who have now won 13 matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Despite the defeat, Huntley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Evelyn Freundt picked up 142 receiving yards and one TD. The Red Raiders also got help from Aubrina Adamik, who showed off her sure hands for 80 receiving yards.
Antioch has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.5 points over those games. As for Huntley, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 16-5 record.
As of now, neither Antioch nor the Red Raiders have any future games scheduled.
