Volleyball Recap: Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley Comes Up Short

Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley didn't have quite enough to beat the Windsor Warriors on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-18, 19-25, 25-23, 21-25, 15-9.

Ermin Alic paced Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley's offense, picking up 15 kills. Alic got some help from Christopher Hernandez and his 30 assists. Alic was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Windsor was led to victory by Tucker Sanders and Jaxon Yang. Sanders had 18 digs, while Yang had nine digs, seven kills, and two blocks. Those two blocks gave Yang a new career-high. Hunter Dupont was another key player, getting 12 digs.
