Baseball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was the 4-2 winner over Crystal Lake Central when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Rockets fell 5-2 to the Tigers on Friday.

Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Hintz, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14-2 record this season. As for Crystal Lake Central, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-14.

Coming up, Central will host Glenbrook South at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Crystal Lake Central, they will face off against Sycamore at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
