Basketball Recap: Cohoes Comes Up Short

Cohoes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 45-33 to the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Indians. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in February.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rae Napierski, who posted 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Napierski a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Masey Raymond, who had 12 points and four steals.

Cohoes' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Cohoes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-13 defeat against Albany Academy for Girls on the 20th. As for Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 72-41 loss against Academy of the Holy Names on the 21st.
