A Season-Best Effort from Brandon Cobb Leads Pulaski Academy over Little Rock Christian Academy

On Friday, Pulaski Academy got the W thanks in part to Brandon Cobb playing the best football he has all season. Cobb rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 350 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.4% of his passes. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September.

For the year, Cobb has thrown 41 touchdowns while averaging 334.2 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had five rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 11.

Jordan Walker Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Jordan Walker produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Bryant to the win on Friday. Walker threw for 248 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Conway's probably not too fond of Walker given he always seems to get the better of them. When Walker last faced the Wampus Cats back in November of 2023, he threw for 365 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown.

On Friday, Little Rock Southwest got the W thanks in part to Chase Forte playing the best football he has all season. Forte rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 100 yards and a touchdown while completing 90.9% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 60 yards.

The victory snapped Little Rock Southwest's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-8 record. Forte and Little Rock Southwest are taking a road trip to challenge Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kamauri Austin Turns in Season-Best Effort

Bryant was led to victory by Kamauri Austin, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Austin picked up 159 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

For the year, Austin has caught 15 touchdowns while averaging 57.9 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 4.9 receiving yards per game.

Gamescore: 40.40

Mahki Mohammed put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September on Friday. He rushed for 17 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 84 yards and a touchdown on only six passes.
