Baseball Recap: Framingham Takes a Loss

Framingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 9-3 to the Brookline Warriors. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Framingham's record is now 0-6. As for Brookline, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Framingham will head out to challenge Lincoln-Sudbury at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brookline, they will venture away from home to take on Weston at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
