Auburndale typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Marathon proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Auburndale Apaches by a score of 68-58. This was a revenge game for the Red Raiders: when they faced off against the Apaches back in January, they had to take a 72-69 defeat.

The win made it two in a row for Marathon and bumps their season record up to 14-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.5 points over those games. As for Auburndale, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-2.

As of now, neither Marathon nor Auburndale have any future games scheduled.
