Basketball Recap: Barnstable Comes Up Short

Barnstable was the 74-69 winner over New Bedford when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Hawks received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 72-54 to the Whalers.

Barnstable's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for New Bedford, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Barnstable will take on East Boston in a holiday battle at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. New Bedford and Dartmouth will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
