Softball Recap: Summersville Wildcats vs. Winona Wildcats
Summersville never got on the board in their matchup last Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Winona on Tuesday. They came out on top against Winona by a score of 14-9. The win continues a trend for Summersville in their matchups with Winona: they've now won five in a row.

Emily Jewett was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing eight bases while going 4-for-4. Those eight stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Havens, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Winona, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Summersville has already played their next game (against Dora), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Winona, they have also already played their next match, a 17-2 loss against Ellington on the 7th.
