Baseball Game Preview: Epiphany Falcons vs. Coastal Christian Centurions

For the second straight game, Epiphany will face off against Coastal Christian. The Falcons will host the Centurions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Epiphany is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Epiphany lost 19-9 to Coastal Christian on Tuesday.

For Coastal Christian's part, Kaden Falls made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Falls has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. That run was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Ty Forrester and Andrew Harrison did most of the damage at the plate: Forrester scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Harrison went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs Harrison has posted since back in April of 2024. Henry Holleman was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Coastal Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Epiphany's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Coastal Christian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.
