Volleyball Recap: Hutchinson Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Hutchinson lost to Newton two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Salthawks came out on top against the Railroaders by a score of 2-0.

Hutchinson easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16.

Hutchinson is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Newton, they dropped their record down to 8-21 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Hutchinson will host Maize at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newton has already played their next matchup (against Andover), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
