Baseball Recap: South-Doyle's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

While South-Doyle put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Soddy Daisy. The Cherokees skirted past the Trojans 1-0. Winning may never get old, but the Cherokees sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Not much got past Tyler Ansell, who gave up just three hits to keep Soddy Daisy off the board.

On the hitting side, South-Doyle saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Swaggerty, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

South-Doyle's victory bumped their record up to 15-16-1. As for Soddy Daisy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-13-2.

As of now, neither South-Doyle nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
