Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pinon). They blew past the St. Michael Cardinals 18-2 on Wednesday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Kenneth Willie was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Pinon: the team is 7-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-5 otherwise.

Pinon hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in 11 consecutive contests.

Pinon's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for St. Michael, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.
