Thousand Oaks had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Camarillo Scorpions as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Scorpions, too.

Thousand Oaks walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-22, 25-22.

Thousand Oaks' victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Camarillo, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thousand Oaks will challenge Harvard-Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Camarillo, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Moorpark at 6:00 p.m. on September 16.
