Softball Recap: Colonial Forge Takes a Loss

Colonial Forge blew Brooke Point out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Brooke Point got their revenge. The Eagles fell just short of the Black-Hawks by a score of 8-6. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Colonial Forge's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Brooke Point, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colonial Forge will host Courtland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Brooke Point, they will square off against Stafford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
