Basketball Recap: Lowell Catholic Triumphs

Lowell Catholic lost to Bedford back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Lowell Catholic Crusaders secured a 73-69 W over the Bedford Buccaneers.

Lowell Catholic is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Bedford, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Lowell Catholic will take on Whittier RVT at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lowell Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Whittier RVT likes a good challenge. As for Bedford, they will square off against Westford Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
