Basketball Game Preview: University Prep Academy Golden Eagles vs. More Knights

University Prep Academy hasn't had much luck against More recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The University Prep Academy Golden Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the More Knights at 7:00 p.m. University Prep Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.8 points per game this season.

Last Thursday, University Prep Academy earned a 53-40 victory over The Nueva School. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Eagles.

University Prep Academy had a senior duo take command as Austin Clement posted 12 points and Anthony Hamoud earned 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Berhe, who scored seven points.

Meanwhile, More came into Thursday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit 64-27. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

More had a senior duo take command as Quentin Vogel went 7 for 10 en route to 15 points and four steals and Anthony Selway had 18 points and three steals. Those 15 points gave Vogel a new career-high. Timothy Bumb was another key player, putting up 11 points.

University Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for More, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

University Prep Academy beat More 58-50 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for University Prep Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
