Soccer Recap: Lynwood Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Lynwood was not quite Paramount's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Paramount Pirates by a score of 1-0. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Lynwood dropped their record down to 3-7-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Paramount, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5-1.

Lynwood will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Warren at 4:45 p.m. Lynwood's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Paramount, they are taking a road trip to face off against Downey at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Paramount's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
