Softball Recap: Boerne-Champion Comes Up Short

If Boerne-Champion was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Alamo Heights last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers lost 9-0 to the Boerne Greyhounds on Friday. Considering the last time the Chargers couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Boerne-Champion has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Boerne, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Boerne-Champion is set to square off against their familiar foe Pieper at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Boerne will take on rival Alamo Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
