Softball Recap: Christian Brothers Comes Up Short

Christian Brothers was the 9-2 winner over Inderkum when they last played one another back in March of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Christian Brothers Falcons came up short against the Inderkum Tigers on Monday, falling 10-3. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maya Torres was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lillie Warren, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Christian Brothers' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Inderkum, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Christian Brothers Falcons face off against Vista del Lago Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Inderkum, they will welcome Pleasant Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Inderkum is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
