Basketball Recap: Stephen-Argyle Central Comes Up Short

Stephen-Argyle Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 69-67 heartbreaker at the hands of the Roseau Rams. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (58), the Storm still had to take the loss.

Stephen-Argyle Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Roseau, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stephen-Argyle Central will take on Warroad in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Warroad will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Stephen-Argyle Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for Roseau, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will face off against East Grand Forks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
