Volleyball Recap: Bell City Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Portageville, Bell City was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bernie Mules. The Cubs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mules, too.

Bell City was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13, 23-25, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Bernie still got an impressive performance from Kalli Mason, who had 11 digs and five assists.

Bell City now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Bernie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Bell City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against South Iron on the 13th. As for Bernie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Clearwater on the 12th.
