Toledo came tearing into Friday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Bandon Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 31-13. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Boomers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Toledo's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 24.3 runs over those games. As for Bandon, they moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Toledo will venture away from home to square off against Powers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bandon, they will take on Umpqua Valley Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
