Basketball Game Preview: Tiverton Tigers vs. Rogers Vikings

Tiverton is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Rogers is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Tiverton Tigers will welcome the Rogers Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Tiverton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Cumberland 58-28.

It was another big night for Jah'Niece Branch, who posted 16 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cami Oliveira, who earned 13 points.

Meanwhile, Rogers faced Hope in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Rogers walked away with a 52-43 victory over Hope. 52 seems to be a good number for the Vikings as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Tiverton now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Rogers, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Tiverton was able to grind out a solid win over Rogers when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 51-44. Does Tiverton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rogers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
