Volleyball Recap: Laurel Has No Trouble Against Park + How To Watch

Laurel's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Park Rangers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Locomotives, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Laurel not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Park between 15 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-17.

Bailey Bequette was the offensive standout of the game as she had ten digs.

Laurel was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Park didn't served any aces.

Park's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Abbey Watts, who had 17 digs, and Chloe Goosey, who had eight digs. Watts is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

Laurel now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Park, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Laurel has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Lockwood on the 18th. As for Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Billings Central Catholic on the 20th.
