Seattle Christian is 2-8 against Klahowya since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Warriors will face off against the Eagles at 4:15 p.m. Seattle Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12 runs per game this season.
Seattle Christian's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Vashon Island as they made off with a 31-0 victory. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Jessica Knight made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Izzy Blase, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with seven RBI, four runs, and three doubles. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Adrienne Koontz was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-5.
Seattle Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .717. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Vashon Island only posted an OBP of .000.
Meanwhile, Klahowya had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three two weeks ago. They came out on top against the Cowboys by a score of 9-4. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly five runs.
Like Seattle Christian, Klahowya also got a great game from a two-way player: Sydney Washington. She struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. Washington has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Aubrey Scholl was excellent, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run. Those RBI were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Mckenna Sullivan, who scored a run and stole three bases.
Seattle Christian's record is now 5-2. As for Klahowya, their record now sits at 4-5.
Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Seattle Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .440. However, it's not like Klahowya struggles in that department as they've averaged .319. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Seattle Christian took their victory against Klahowya in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 12-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
