Football Recap: Cranston East Skates Past Middletown with Ease

While Cranston East put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Middletown. The Thunderbolts simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Islanders 34-0. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Thunderbolts' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Gavin Boylan threw for 176 yards and one TD while completing 83.3% of his passes. Angel Figueroa was his top target, picking up 95 receiving yards.

Cranston East's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Middletown, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Cranston East will take on Central Falls at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Middletown, they will face off against West Warwick at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
