Softball Recap: Hillcrest Rams vs. Greenville Red Raiders

Hillcrest won against Riverside last Wednesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Rams walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Greenville Red Raiders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2015.

Olivia Baker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Maria Sialmas was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatum Lane, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
