1. Sheridan
Coach:
Don Julian
2014 finish: 8-3
Team preview

It's been four seasons since Sheridan won a state title (2011) and it's been six seasons since it won a conference championship, but the Broncs could be the team to beat in Wyoming this year. Sheridan returns a number of starters from last year, including all-conference quarterback Blake Godwin and all-state running back Evan Coon. The offensive line boasts returning all-conference pick Davis Alden while all-conference choice Dontae Crow returns in the defensive backfield. Riley Sessions should also be a force at middle linebacker.

2. Campbell County (Gillette)
Coach:
Vic Wilkerson
2014 finish: 9-3
Team preview

The Camels have a pair of returning all-state players this year in junior offensive lineman Lane Tucker and senior linebacker Zach Taylor. Coach Vic Wilkerson will have to replace most of the skill positions, however, including unanimous all-state receiver Talon Nelson. Campbell County advanced to the third round of the Class 4A playoffs before falling to Natrona County.

3. Natrona County (Casper)
Coach:
Steve Harshman
2014 finish: 12-0
Team preview

The Mustangs have won a Class 4A state championship in three of the past five seasons and take a 12-game winning streak into the 2015 season. Natrona County might have a difficult time maintaining that type of excellence, however, as it returns just one starter from last year. Veteran coach Steve Harshman is hoping that Matt Benardis (5-foot-11, 180 pounds) can take over the helm of the offense at quarterback while Caleb Hett (6-3, 215) will lead the offensive line. Cody Wilkinson (6-4, 215), a defensive end, is the leader on defense.

4. East (Cheyenne)
Coach:
Chad Goff
2014 finish: 8-3
Team preview

The Thunderbirds have to replace one of the top recruits to come out of Wyoming in many years in quarterback Tevis Bartlett. The conference MVP on both offense and defense, Bartlett is listed as a linebacker for the Washington Huskies this year. Still, East returns a pair of all-state players in offensive lineman Quinn Happold and linebacker Jack Danni.

5. Cody
Coach:
Chris Williams
2014 finish: 10-2
Team preview

The Broncs won their final nine games of last year to capture the Class 3A state championship. Nine players on last year's squad earned all-state honors, but only one of them returns. Cameron Myers is back to handle duties at running back and middle linebacker. Blake Hinze, a safety who earned all-conference honors, also returns.
