Basketball Game Preview: Carson Cougars vs. West Rowan Falcons

Carson and West Rowan are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Carson Cougars just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the West Rowan Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Carson is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Carson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 45-40 to Central Cabarrus.

Meanwhile, West Rowan can bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They snuck past Mount Pleasant with a 41-36 win.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for West Rowan, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-12.

Carson was able to grind out a solid win over West Rowan in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 47-34. Will Carson repeat their success, or does West Rowan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
