Basketball Recap: Manteno Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Manteno's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They took down the Clifton Central Comets 71-54. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Manteno has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.9 points per game. As for Clifton Central, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
