Basketball Recap: HomeSchool Resource Center Takes a Loss

HomeSchool Resource Center's tournament run continued when they took on Rolla HomeSchool on Saturday. The Patriots were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 51-50 to Rolla HomeSchool. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why HomeSchool Resource Center lost, don't look at Noel Green. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 25 points and 18 rebounds. Green has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 20 times he's played. Andrew Bougher also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

HomeSchool Resource Center's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Rolla HomeSchool, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

HomeSchool Resource Center didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-48 victory against City Baptist School on the 17th. As for Rolla HomeSchool, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 75-50 win against Providence Classical Christian Academy on the 11th.
