Monrovia came into Saturday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Paramount Pirates on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Monrovia's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Paramount, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 6-10.

Coincidentally, Monrovia and Paramount will both be playing La Salle the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will host the Lancers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
